We were commissioned to create an Ashoka's Lion for the Young Buddhist Association as part of the Vesak Day 2023 commemoration. The Ashoka's Lion, associated with Emperor Ashoka from the 3rd century BCE and the propagation of Buddhism, serves as a symbolic representation of Buddhist principles through its intricate details. It was chosen as the ideal award to honor sponsors for the Vesak Day event.
The 3D printing process for the Ashoka's Lion posed considerable challenges due to its complexity. Multiple tests were conducted to find the optimal solution, and we successfully achieved it. Ultimately, the lion was meticulously spray-painted with bronze gold and affixed to an elegant wooden base.
